Instructions for permanently removing your account and data
Delete Account Through the App
For security reasons, account deletion must be done through the CoupleWish mobile app where you are authenticated.
Steps to delete your account:
- Open the CoupleWish app on your iPhone or Android device
- Navigate to Profile by tapping the Profile icon in the bottom navigation
- Scroll to Privacy Settings section
- Tap "Delete Account" - you'll find this option in red text
- Enter your password to verify your identity
- Type "DELETE" in the confirmation field
- Tap "Delete My Account" to permanently remove your account
Note: You must be signed in to the app to delete your account. This ensures only you can delete your own data.
What Data Is Deleted
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
When you delete your CoupleWish account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile and account information
- All wishlists and items
- Gift reservations you've made
- Calendar events and reminders
- Partner connections
- Family circle memberships
- Uploaded photos and images
- Notification preferences
Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA.

If you don't have access to the CoupleWish app, you can download it to delete your account:
After downloading the app, sign in with your existing account credentials and follow the deletion steps above.
